Sustainable Frome FM

Broadcast every 2nd Monday of the month at 8pm and repeated on the following Sunday at midday plus available anytime after broadcast on MixCloud.

Sustainable Frome FM reports on local projects, explores challenges, highlights opportunities and shares tips for things you can do at home to reduce your impact on planet earth. Topics include food, transport, energy, climate change, community and more.

The programme is presented by Alex Hart and Mike Grenville: we aim to inspire, reflect and inform.

Sustainable Frome believes that the global challenges of climate change and social inequality require community-led responses. By coming together to re-imagine our world our relationship to the problems we face can change for the better. Together we can really make a difference locally and globally.

Since its formation in 2008 in Frome, Sustainable Frome has been a part of the Transition Network which has similar communities in towns and villages in more than 50 countries.
